---Our new way of greeting people must be changed---
The way how we say Hello to our friends, relatives, family members, colleagues and even elders has dramatically changed these days. When I was raised, I have been told that when we meet people, : we have to say " Tena yestelegn, or endemen aderek, endemen walek?" and the response to these questions must be" Dehna egziabeher yemesgen". Which means" I am fine , Thanks to the Lord or Praise the Lord". As I said above, nowadays, Ethiopians, specially youngsters say" Hi or selam new? etc..."These types of greetings are not ethiopian way of salutation and must be changed. People should be conscious and must act properly in order to preserve our good way of communicating with others. Selam.
