The UN is better placed than any other organization in the world to understand the gravity of the situation in the Congo, since its former Secretary-General, Dag Hjalmar Agne Carl Hammarskjöld, perished in a plane crash in September 1961. It is therefore imperative to resolve this crisis without delay in order to avoid further catastrophes that are both grave and unnecessary. PEACE.
