A scene worthy of a film: aerial views of the Last Supper, adorned with tables, chairs, cups filled with wine and plates laden with bread, and rich golden decorations, bathed in heavenly light. Jesus and the Apostles are visible, haloed in brilliant celestial light, but Judas Escariotes is invisible. Jesus takes the bread and says to them, “This is my body, given in communion.” Then he takes the wine and says, “This is my blood, also given in communion.” Judas Escariotes is not haloed in this brilliant celestial light, his cup is not filled with wine, and his plate contains no bread. The camera follows the Last Supper and its setting, Jesus Christ and the Apostles, with fluid and precise movements.
