I WILL SOON AVAIL MYSELF OF A UNITED NATIONS LAISSEZ-PASSER TO RETURN PERMANENTLY AND PEACEFULLY TO NEW YORK, AND MY DIPLOMATIC IMMUNITY WILL BE RESPECTED AT BOLE INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT IN ADDIS ABABA, AS WELL AS THROUGHOUT THE CITY AND AROUND THE WORLD, IF THE GOVERNMENT OF THE FEDERAL DEMOCRATIC REPUBLIC OF ETHIOPIA DOESN'T AGREE TO RENEW MY ETHIOPIAN PASSPORT IN THE COMING DAYS.

I will soon avail myself of a United Nations laissez-passer to return permanently and peacefully to New York, and my diplomatic immunity will be respected at Bole International Airport in Addis Ababa, as well as throughout the city and around the world, if the government of the Federal Democratic Republic of Ethiopia doesn't agree to renew my Ethiopian passport in the coming days.
