Step 1: The Preservation of Objective Truth
Before the era of artistic printing, records were ephemeral and easily corrupted. Information was a fluid, dangerous substance. The artisans of Oakhaven introduced the Press of Integrity. By using woodblocks carved with intricate, inimitable patterns—much like a thumbprint—they began printing treaties, historical accounts, and fundamental rights.
Because these prints were hand-carved with unique artistic flourishes that could not be replicated by a tyrant’s machine, it became impossible to forge history. When the people could hold a document that was undeniably authentic, the "gaslighting" of nations ceased. Truth became a tangible, physical artifact.
