THE MIRACLE OF SAINT MICHAEL, THE ARCHANGEL

This is the miracle of Saint Michael (Archangel and the highest rank among all other Saint Archangels) which tells how he helped Fasiledes, protected him and saved him from all his troubles with his lightning wings. May his blessing be upon us forever, Amen. There was a man named Fasilides, who was always awake and patiently praying with all his heart to be a martyr. And one day, the Archangel Michael appeared in his dream and said to him "Rejoice, son of the Messiah, your name is written in the Heavenly Book of Life." “Rejoice Fasiledes, your alms are before the throne of God.” “Rejoice Fasiledes, as you are honored in this world, you will also be honored with heavenly glory in Jerusalem.”. “Rejoice Fasiledes, your name and those of your loved ones are written in the Holy Temple of the Lord.”. “Rejoice Fasiledes, a house is built for you in three years in Heaven.” “Rejoice Fasiledes, your house and that of Yostas are the highest and best of all and a Palace like that of David is built for each of your children in Heaven.”. “Rejoice Fasiledes, a house is being built for you of precious stones and pearls in the land of the Son of God who was presented as a sacrifice for the atonement of sins.”. "Rejoice Fasiledes, and now be patient. I am the living Archangel Michael who has saved you from all your troubles since your childhood. I have saved your nephew, Yostas, from the hands of Persia and I have also helped and strengthened your son, Awsapius, until he triumphed over his enemies." Now I have come to take you on my wings to Heaven and present to you great glory before my Lord Jesus Christ, that He may reveal to you the secrets that you must keep to yourself and use in times of great need to overcome your challenges and face them all." Then the archangel of the Lord, Saint Michael, dispelled him of his fears, enveloped his body with his lightning wings, took him to the third heaven and presented him before his Lord, Jesus Christ. And once again He wrapped him with His illuminating wings, took him to the shore of life, baptized him three times in the name of the Holy Father, the Holy Son and the Holy Spirit, and brought him into the city of the just and the brave. . Then, upon his arrival, he saw a mansion built with marbles, celestial gems, pearls, gold, diamonds and other magnificent materials. These beautiful heavenly mansions were surrounded by the twenty-four heavenly priests but there was no man inside. One of these houses was so high that it was impossible to speak of his work and his glory. "And who owns this mansion which is the most magnificent of all? Indeed, those who will inherit these beautiful and decorated heavenly mansions are very lucky, and those who deserve these highest mansions in heaven should feel honored." The Archangel of the Lord, Saint Michael, told him that the highest and the best is for him and that the rest is prepared for his loved ones and for Yostas who is the son of the king. And again, He asked him to follow Him and took him to where the righteous live happily and in peace. Then he showed him Abraham, Isaac and Jacob. These great Fathers were also very happy to see him and blessed him and said: “Our brother and friend, Fasiledes, we are very happy to meet you and see you here. May Almighty God be with you in all your works and endeavors. Be strong and courageous. Don't be afraid of anything." And then, Our beloved God, Jesus Christ, ordered the archangel Saint Michael to wrap him in his illuminating wings and bring him back to his house. Then, when he wrapped him up and brought him home, his whole body became as bright as the sun and his smell as good as expensive and very good perfumes. Finally, the Archangel Saint Michael strengthened him, honored him with great glory of majesty and ascended to Heaven. May the prayers and intercession of the Archangel Saint Michael be upon us.
