1. The Jerusalem Cross (Five-Fold Cross)

Design: A large center cross surrounded by four smaller Greek crosses in each quadrant.

Symbolism: Represents either the five wounds of Christ (pierced hands, feet, and side) or Christ as the center surrounded by the four Evangelists.

History: Adopted as the emblem of the Kingdom of Jerusalem by Crusaders.
