To this day, whenever the Oromo people gather beneath the shade of the Odaa tree to settle disputes, make laws, or celebrate life, they invoke the spirit of Nageenya—Peace. And they remember Ajetu and Ashetu, the twin mothers who proved that division is an illusion, and that through unity, love, and shared motherhood, a people can weather any storm and bloom anew.
